Most of the game philosophy of Vulpinoid Studios cn be found in the SNAFU Manifesto and the SNAFU game system has been refined over the years as an embodiment of these ideas and a method of craeting a safe space for the telling of communal stories.
The TLDR is basically that everything in the world is a struggle between light and dark, order abd chaos, progress and stagnation... everyone needs to find their own place in this balance and needs to underatsnd that not everyone fits into the grand scheme of things at the same level. The products of Vulpinoid Studios are designed to let people explore the world and the perspectives of the people in it through TTRPGs.
Vulpinoid Studios was unofficially founded in the mid 1990s as a publisher of game modules and adventuxres, and a few ideas to expand tabletop gaming. It became an official publishing entity in 2007, and began publishing a range of small games and gaming accessories. It is the aim of this studio to create new and innovative TTRPGs that provoke thought and push the envelope of what gaming can be. It is predominantly run by Michael Wenman, but has a number of other individuals who contribute to the various published titles.
Custom TTRPGs, hacks of other games, card games, novels, maps, and other elements used to support the hobbies and communities in this field. Each of these contributes to the worlds and experiences that Vupinoid Studios hopes to share with the world.
Most of the work produced by Vulpinoid Studios is deliberately released under Creative Commons licenses. Mostly because we believe in the ideas and the potential to share stories and knowledge.
